The research adopts a qualitative, review–analytical, and comparative approach and is conducted through documentary analysis, examination of architectural plans and visual documents, and case study analysis of buildings such as Radio City Cinema, the Jeep Building, and Laleh Guesthouse. In this study, characteristics such as symmetry, geometric forms, symbolic entrances, spatial sequencing, and thematic ornamentation are identified as narrative-generating components within the spatial structure. The findings indicate that Art Deco architecture in Iran is not merely a reflection of Pahlavi-era modernity, but also plays an effective role in the production of cultural meanings, the representation of collective memory, and the shaping of urban experience. This research provides a theoretical framework for reinterpreting narrative in contemporary Iranian architecture and lays the groundwork for comparative studies across other cities and architectural styles.</p> <p>پژوهش حاضر با هدف تحلیل سه‌گانه‌ی فرم، معنا و روایت در معماری آرت‌دکوی ایران انجام شده است، تا از طریق بررسی نمونه‌های شاخصی از این سبک در تهران، قابلیت‌های روایت‌پذیر معماری در بستر فرهنگی و تاریخی کشور تبیین شود. رویکرد پژوهش کیفی، مروری-تحلیلی و تطبیقی است و از طریق تحلیل اسنادی، بررسی نقشه‌ها، اسناد تصویری و تحلیل نمونه‌های موردی همچون سینما رادیوسیتی، ساختمان جیپ و مهمان‌پذیر لاله انجام گرفته است. در این تحقیق، شاخصه‌هایی مانند تقارن، فرم‌های هندسی، ورودی‌های نمادین، توالی فضایی و تزیینات تماتیک به‌عنوان مؤلفه‌های روایت‌ساز در ساختار فضایی مورد شناسایی قرار گرفتند. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که سبک آرت‌دکو در ایران نه تنها بازتابی از مدرنیته‌ی دوره پهلوی است، بلکه در خلق معناهای فرهنگی، بازنمایی حافظه‌ی جمعی و تجربه‌ی شهری نقشی مؤثر ایفا کرده است. این پژوهش چارچوبی نظری برای بازخوانی روایت در معماری معاصر ایران فراهم می‌آورد و زمینه را برای مطالعات تطبیقی در شهرها و سبک‌های دیگر فراهم می‌سازد.</p> https://www.jmaaue.org/index.php/jmaaue/article/download/156/132
